TALYA KNABLE PSYCHOTHERAPY
Shira Katz, LCPC
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with teenagers and adults. My education is a culmination of 10 years of teaching and mentoring teenagers in the community. Within the past five years, I have had experience facilitating Intensive Outpatient Groups, and doing individual sessions in a community health setting with people from a variety of age groups and backgrounds.
I value meeting clients where they are, helping them find their inner wisdom, focusing on finding practical solutions to current concerns, and improving one’s wellbeing while healing historical wounds, with a non-judgmental, empathetic presence.
I work with people struggling with childhood wounds, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, vulnerable self-esteem, life-transitions, and PTSD utilizing an integrative holistic approach according to each client’s needs, including EMDR, sandtray, art, attachment and inner child work, CBT, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and expressive therapies. I strive to make therapy a safe and comfortable place where clients can develop a deeper and more compassionate understanding of themselves and how to live their best life.
